Justice Alliance is the seventh episode in Season 1 of Atomic Puppet (Series).

Synopsis[]

Justice Alliance comes to town seeking to replace the vacancy left by Captain Atomic.[1]

Plot[]

It shows a view of the city and its residence until a ship lands onto Captain Atomic's statue. Three men come out of the ship and greet everyone in Mega City. They reveal that they are looking for Atomic Puppet to join their alliance. Mookie wanted to join the alliance and was turned down by the Justice Alliance even if he posed as a fake Atomic Puppet. Joey wants to meet them, but AP is not interested so he leaves to go somewhere. AP reveals that he does not want to join since his friends might make fun of him that he is now a puppet and not the superhero that he was before. Joey takes AP with him and heads to the Justice Alliance to join but realizes that the alliance is in trouble. Joey goes in but AP stays behind. It is known that Mookie trapped the alliance with goo and is sending their ship to the sun. Joey tries to set them free but before he could, Mookie goos him and is stuck there. Mookie leaves the ship to leave them to their doom. AP finds Joey and transform into Atomic Puppet. They help the Justice Alliance by setting them free. Robo-Ron tries to overrun the system but realize that Mookie has jammed the system. Atomic Puppet, Beacon, and Cavalier try to find Mookie to tell them the password, but he just made it up, so he was not much help. Atomic Puppet defeats Mookie and launches him spinning into space. Beacon then launches Atomic Puppet and Cavalier towards their ship to save it and their friend Robo-Ron. They do eventually save the ship and sent it back towards Earth. Atomic Puppet eventually accepts being into the Justice Alliance with a communicator given to them to stay in touch but told them that he was worried what they think of him as a puppet now. They did not mind it so Atomic Puppet feels happy, so he leaves their ship in good terms. Mookie lands back to Earth into a area where there are a lot of cactuses.

Production Notes[]

  • On the part where Mookie was wearing one of the costumes that looked similar to what Atomic Puppet is in order to fool the Justice Alliance was heavily based on the early concept art for Mookie, Joey and AP, which was done primarily by Steve Lambe, the show's character designer.[2]
