Scott McCord is an actor, musician and voice over artist, who is the voice actor for Rudolph Mintenberg
His professional acting career began at 17, performing and touring a sketch comedy revue with Second city alumni. After studying theatre at Toronto's Ryerson University and touring Canada with funk/jam band Whetherman Groove Tube, Scott's foray into independent theatre began. He broadened his range with edgier roles, and was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore award (Best Actor in an Independent Production). He was also co-creating new, innovative work with upcoming theatre artists. One of Canada's leading voice over artists, he is best known for his roles as Owen and Trent in Total Drama Island and Dan Kuso in Bakugan Battle Brawlers, he has played a memorable range of characters in such popular animated series as Ruby Gloom (Skull Boy), Yin! Yang! Yo!, My Big Big Friend, Camp Lakebottom (2013) and Mother Up! with Eva Longoria(2013) Scott has made appearances at Armegeddon Expo (Australia, New Zealand 2011) and Toronto Fan Expo (2011) as well as the upcoming Toronto Comicon (2014) for his work in animation. He has appeared in the films 16 Blocks (Warner Brothers), Shoot 'Em Up (New Line Cinema), and has appeared in numerous television shows - Lost Girl, Republic of Doyle, Martin and Lewis, Whitewash: The Clarence Brandley Story, Common Ground, The Famous Jett Jackson, and played James Joy in the Gemini Award winning series The Eleventh Hour. An accomplished musician. He is band leader and frontman for the eight-piece original rock/soul outfit Scott McCord and the Bonafide Truth. They have just released their eponymous sophomore album to rave reviews across Canada, as well as being nominated Best Artist of the Year (Maple Blues Awards, 2010). Scott founded Criminal Theatre with playwright/actor Rosa LaBorde in 2013. Their first original show, True, will make it's premiere at the Toronto Fringe Festival 2014.
